Season Closer at Agness (photos)

Wild Riders had a great season closer up at Agness this December. The sun cleared for the trail ride and the skies gave way to gorgeous riding conditions. Steve and Michele at The Old Agness Store served up some heady burgers (seriously, so good!!) and beer. Some of us even finished our Christmas gift shopping at their adorable store, stuffing our gift bags with local handmade goods! Illinois River Trail rode great despite the nearly 2″ of rain the previous day. The Wild Rivers Coast sure is a perfect place to ride, all year round! See you in 2017!!

Old Agness Store Lunch and Trail Ride

agnessphotoCalling all mountain bikers!

Group ride this Saturday in Agness should be a blast full of food, fun, and maybe even some snow. Steve & Michelle at the Old Agness Store has graciously invited the club for a Free Lunch after our group ride as a way to say thanks for our help in their summer events this past year.

Meet at the Fairgrounds in Gold Beach at 9am to caravan/carpool to the Illinois River Trail. Ride will begin around 10am. We will ride 3 miles up and 3 miles back, turning around at Buzzards Roost. Free Lunch to follow at the Agness Store at 12pm. Bring the family!

All group rides require mountain bikes and helmets. Dress accordingly for the weather, might be chilly!

Club Meeting & Holiday Cheer

68530_10150100436360255_5929227_nWhat’s a better thing to do than talk bikes and have a beer on a rainy Coastal Tuesday?
Our monthly Club Meeting (and last one of this year) is Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at 6pm. Location is the Chowder House in Gold Beach. Wear your favorite Holiday Sweater for more fun! As always, anyone is welcome to attend. This is a great place to learn more about the club and our inner workings. Also, if you’re interested in becoming a Board Member, we are looking for a few positions to fill for 2017. Inquire at the meeting!
Ho-ho-hope to see all you there! (sorry, had to!)
