Lower Rogue River Trail Work Parties!

WRCMBA and the USFS is working together to fulfill a grant and work hours on the Lower Rogue River Trail. We have 500 hours to accomplish and we need your help! If you can carve out one Saturday a month for us, we will have an amazing mountain biking and hiking thoroughfare between Lobster Creek in Gold Beach and Agnes! This is a destination and gem of a trail and we need your help to fix it up!

Days: EVERY 3rd SATURDAY FEBRUARY THROUGH MAY
Stage Time: Meet at 8am ready to caravan, carpool, boat, etc. Details will be given at the meet up.
Where: Meet @ the Lobster Creek Bridge on the South side of Rogue River. (pavement side).
Bring: We will provide tools and hardhats. You are responsible to dress appropriately for the weather, wear sturdy boot, leather gloves, long-sleeves, eye protection/glasses, and bring plenty of water/snacks. Bring rain gear, if the weather looks grey.

January Little Bald Club Ride

Club Ride at Little Bald Hills in the Redwoods! This is a fun 10 mile ride in the middle of the world famous Redwoods at Jedidiah Smith State Park. We’ll be riding from Paraside to Little Bald Hills. This ride is 5 miles up, 5 down. One mile of heavy climbing, 4 miles of gradual climb, and 5 miles of singletrack bliss under the towering Redwoods! There’s one mile on the road to get back to our vehicles.

At 9:45 meet at the boat launch between Slant Bridge and Second Bridge. Take a right off of hwy 199 into Jedidiah Smith State Park. After the first bridge take another right and the boat launch is on right before second bridge. We will be shuttled to the Paradise trailhead.

For those coming from up North we will be meeting at the Harbor Dutch Bros @ 9am.

Trail Opener, December Events

South Coast Bicycles has a few photos of the opener at the new Whiskey Run Mountain Biking Trails.

Thanks to everyone for all the hard work, we are honored to help maintain and volunteer on this amazing trail system. Be sure to become a member today and help us keep the stoke alive!

Remember these are non-motorized trails, no horses, no-throttle bikes allowed.
