Dig Day, Dig Day, Dig Day!

Saturday, March 14; 10-2pm

Come out THIS Saturday to Whiskey Run for our monthly dig day.

Tool trailer and tools will be onsite. We will have beer after for those 21+ donated by 7 Devil’s Brewing Company.
Please dress appropriately for trail work, wear sturdy shoes, gloves, eye-pro, hats, etc.
Please meet at 10am at the Main Parking Lot at Whiskey Run. Directions here. If you are going to be late, please message us through Facebook on the event page, or email info@wrcmba.com so we can get you signed in and get you some tools.

Volunteer day runs from 10am until 2pm. With socializing and beers after.

Ride the Dirt Wave

Join OCVA and regional planners as we focus on how to bring more off- road cycling opportunities to the coast!

Anyone from the club is welcome to attend, there is a pumptrack & trails ride, followed by lunch, and brainstormiing/conference after. Contact Eddie if you are planning on attending to coordinate ride/hotel if needed: 907-841-0114

  • 10-11:30am: Ride Meriwether trails and pumptrack. 
  • 11:30am – 12pm: Lunch (provided)
  • 12pm – 1pm: Review of October meeting and identified next steps
  • 1pm – 2pm: Strategies for collaboration
  • 2pm – 3pm: Talking to your community about the benefits of off road cycling 
  • 3pm – 4pm: Next steps: Inventory, Analysis, and Communication

New Year, New Dig Days

North Region of WRCMBA invites all club members, volunteers, and community of riders to join us this spring as we host monthly Trail Maintenance Days at Whiskey Run Trails. See our list of upcoming Dig Days below, we will meet 10am-2pm consistently, rain or shine.

Volunteers at our January 25th Dig Day
  • Saturday, January 25th, 2020 10am-2pm – COMPLETE!
  • Sunday, February 23rd, 2020 10am-2pm
  • Saturday, March 14th, 2020 10am-2pm
  • Sunday, April 19th, 2020 10am-2pm

All volunteer days will start at 10am with a briefing of work and tool handout. Look for the club trailer at the Main Parking lot, unless otherwise mentioned in a Facebook update. Rain or shine.

Please dress appropriately for the weather, wear sturdy shoes, bring gloves (if you want), and any friends or family members that would like to come help! The Club Tool Trailer will be present stocked with hand tools, chainsaw, and blower. If you have a favorite hand tool, feel free to bring it, but it is not necessary.
