Trail Head Construction

Starting next week, March 29th, Coos County will be finishing clearing and graveling the new expanded parking area and prepping for installation of Pit Toilets. The construction will be taking place at the Main Parking Lot. We are advising all users to please park either at The Snag- Lower Parking area, or at the top, gravel area off West Beaver Hill for your safety and that of the crews working.

Thank you for your cooperation as we look forward to the upgraded facilities!

CONSISTENT THIEF WARNING!

We have had multiple instances with the same vehicle and scum-bags stealing things and scanning the parking lots for unlocked cars and valuables.
Be on the lookout and please get plate numbers for a WHITE ACURA SEDAN. Typically with 2-4 of Coos County’s finest inside driving slowly by parking lots and looking for any thing easy to steal.
Please call Coos County Sheriff with their plate number and any other identifications you can give. (541) 396-7800 Take photos of the vehicle if you can.
PLEASE LOCK YOUR VEHICLES AND TAKE ALL VALUABLES WITH YOU! REPORT ANY AND ALL SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITIES IN THE WHISKEY RUN AREA.

WHISKEY CHASER 2021 UPDATE
WRCMBA is once again hoping to host the Whiskey Chaser race in 2021, if all the stars align. We have a lot of changing guidelines we will have to keep a watch on to see if it is feasible this summer. Most likely it will be held after June, exact date is TBD. If you’d like to be on the committee to help out with planning, race day volunteering, or outreach please email Erin directly at bike.ski.yoga@gmail.com
