Join WRCMBA this coming Saturday, April 10th, for our Trail Work Party at Whiskey Run!
**Remember to wear a mask when at the TH and near others if you cannot keep 6′ distance. Please maintain 6′ social distancing from others not in your family party.
All ages and abilities welcome! Rain or shine, so dress appropriately for the weather. Bring your sunscreen!
When: April 10th, 2021
Time: 10:00am-2:00pm (Please arrive between 10-10:30 to check in and get your tools. Tool trailer will be locked once we hit the trails for volunteer work). If you are arriving late and want to grab some tools, please call or text Erin @ 772-633-7385
Where: Whiskey Run Trails, near Meadow Skipper and Top Shelf. Tool trailer will be located at the small dirt pull of at the top of Whiskey Run Road. Please either park along the road, or at any of the upper pull offs. You can also park at the main lot, and carpool up if parking is limited.
What: We will be using the Club’s new CannyCom mechanized wheel barrow to Graveling some low sections of Top Shelf and possibly upper Copperhead Road.
REMEMBER: Lock your vehicles and make sure your bikes are secured/locked or with you at all times due to high theft in the area.
Bring your bikes for a fun ride after!
Trail Head Construction
Starting next week, March 29th, Coos County will be finishing clearing and graveling the new expanded parking area and prepping for installation of Pit Toilets. The construction will be taking place at the Main Parking Lot. We are advising all users to please park either at The Snag- Lower Parking area, or at the top, gravel area off West Beaver Hill for your safety and that of the crews working.
